Nobody is Above the Law Protest - White Plains
Please RSVP and invite friends to join you at the event!
A core principle shared by supporting organizations is a commitment to nonviolent, peaceful actions. All actions that are sponsored or organized on this page are intended to be nonviolent and peaceful. We expect all participants to act lawfully at all times and to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those that disagree with our values.
The host has marked that this event is wheelchair accessible.
Attorney General William Barr has until Tuesday, April 2, to send the full Mueller Report to Congress. That's the deadline set this week by six House committee chairpersons, after which they will consider Barr to be noncompliant and will put the pressure of the law on him with a subpoena to #MakeItPublic. We will know by the following morning, Wednesday, whether he has met that deadline or is refusing to make it public. If Barr misses the deadline to make the Mueller report public, shielding the Trump administration from public accountability, we will likely activate the Nobody Is Above the Law rapid-response network on Wednesday morning, calling for a national day of action the following day, THURSDAY, APRIL 4, at 5 p.m. local time.
TIMING NOTE: This event has not been confirmed by the host recently. Please check the event map at trumpisnotabovethelaw.org for a confirmed event near you. If there is no other event near you, you can still take action to demand Barr #ReleaseTheReport.
