Nobody Is Above the Law

We're mobilizing to demand accountability, because Trump is not above the law. If Donald moves to block the Mueller investigation from sharing the truth, we'll be ready—with hundreds of rapid-response events around the country!

Please RSVP so the host team can inform you if they launch their event. Once you sign up, make sure to invite friends to join you at the event!

A core principle shared by supporting organizations is a commitment to nonviolent, peaceful actions.  All actions that are sponsored or organized on this page are intended to be nonviolent and peaceful.  We expect all participants to act lawfully at all times and to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those that disagree with our values.

The host has marked that this event is wheelchair accessible.

[Note above date is just a placeholder - ignore it] WINTER PLAN: No events on Christmas—if we need to launch actions, they would begin on December 27 If a red line is crossed from Dec. 23 to Dec. 26, all Nobody Is Above the Law events will be encouraged to occur on Dec. 27. We also will not hold events on New Years Eve, December 31, to avoid possible complications with event venues that might be booked for New Years Eve celebrations (such as Times Square, or your local town hall!). If a red line is crossed, we will push events to January 1. If Donald Trump takes one of the following actions, we’ll consider a red line to have been crossed: 1. If he fires Mueller 2. If he pardons key witness(es) 3. If he takes actions that would prevent the investigation from being conducted freely, such as replacing Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, Mueller’s current supervisor, or repealing the regulations establishing the office 4. If the Mueller investigation releases findings showing significant wrongdoing by Donald Trump. And if Congress or the administration blocks the public from seeing Mueller's findings. *If the red line already crossed, that of AG replacement, happens again , we will not trigger events, but we will respond by expanding the rapid-response list and demanding that any new AG protect the Mueller investigation and that Congress pass the Mueller protection legislation. WHEN AND WHERE Rallies will begin: o 5 pm (local time) the day AFTER the red line event happens (Our original launch timeline called for protests to take place at 5 p.m. the same day if news of a red line crossing broke early enough, and noon the next day if that news broke later (after 2 p.m.). We're now changing the standard plan and calling for protests at 5 p.m. locally the following day, regardless of the hour at which news of a red line crossing breaks. ) We'll meet in front of Fort Bragg Town Hall (Main & Laurel). We'll make a peaceful ruckus with signs and voices. We will march to our Congressional office at Franklin and Laurel to demand that Congress does its job & put limits on a dangerous presidency. Hopefully it won't come to this but if it does, see you there!

TIMING NOTE: This event is prospective, and has no concrete time or date. Should the national network call for events to occur, hosts will launch their events by indicating a specific date and time. If there is no date or time listed, it is because the network has not been activated and/or the host has not specified if and when the event will occur. Please RSVP so the host team can inform you if they launch their event.
