Thank you for stepping up to host an emergency "Nobody is Above the Law" event to protest Donald Trump's attempts to undermine the Trump-Russia investigation and hide the results from the public.

Creating an event is easy! Just fill out the form below to begin. You will also need to confirm your event before it goes live.

Right now, we don't know if or when Trump will fire Mueller or take other actions to end or seriously threaten the investigation. Please set the date of your event far in the future so it doesn't expire, as past events will not appear on the map. We're suggesting you set the events for the placeholder time of 5 P.M. on December 3, 2019, and update the event with the appropriate time and date if Mueller is fired and we swing into action.

Organizers are encouraging no more than one event take place per city, to minimize the amount of time spent on logistics and maximize the size of each crowd. If an event already exists near you, please consider attending that event rather than creating your own. You can contact an existing event host to offer assistance after RSVPing to the event. That person can add attendees as co-hosts if they are able to offer additional organizing support.

Event Rules

Here are the basic requirements for event hosts:

I understand the event timing: If Trump fires Mueller or takes another action to end or seriously threaten the Trump-Russia investigation prior to 2 P.M. local time, rallies will occur at 5 P.M. local time that day; if network actions are triggered after 2 P.M. local time, rallies will occur at noon local time the following day.

Right now, the following are the red lines, which if crossed, could trigger the call for national actions, communicated by national partners to hosts:

    1. Firing Mueller;
    2. Pardons of key witnesses;
    3. Actions that would prevent the investigation from being conducted freely, such as replacing Mueller’s current supervisor, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, or repealing the regulations establishing the office.
    4. The Mueller investigation releases findings showing significant wrongdoing by Donald Trump. Or Congress or the administration blocks the public from seeing Mueller's findings.

Here are the rules for hosting events:

The events will be sponsored by MoveOn.org, a national organization that provides support and mobilization tools to grassroots organizers across the United States, in coordination with partner organizations.  MoveOn relies on volunteer event hosts to plan and organize the events that it sponsors; those volunteer hosts, and not MoveOn, are the sole organizers of all events on this site unless MoveOn expressly indicates that it is organizing a specific event.

By submitting this form you agree, as the host of a MoveOn event, that:

  1. You are responsible for planning and supervising your event and ensuring that it is carried out in a safe and legal manner;
  2. You will adhere to MoveOn's Host Principles and Commitments;
  3. You will not request or direct, or knowingly permit anyone acting on your or your organization’s behalf to request or direct, any participant at your events to engage in any unlawful activity, including unlawful nonviolent direct action;
  4. You will obtain any permits required for your event;
  5. You will communicate and coordinate with local law enforcement authorities to make them aware of your events and offer to coordinate and cooperate with them in arranging for security of event participants and the public, to the extent applicable and necessary; and
  6. Although MoveOn is a sponsor of your event, MoveOn does not authorize or adopt any statements or conduct made or undertaken by you or attendees at your event.
  7. MoveOn does not assume or accept any liability for any injury to any person or damages to any property occurring in the course of, or by reason of, events you organize as a MoveOn event host.
